$2500
$1000
$8000
$ 400
no estimate
$ 300
$20,200
plus p. a. cost
There is an additional question about back stroke flags necessary
for swim meets which we were repeatedly told had been ordered
last year, but did not appear.
Note: We also agree with the necessity for budgeting $500 for
the purchase of new nets and $500 for sprinkler system components
for the tennis courts. We feel these are annual expenses which
should be considered part of the cost of. preparing the tennis
courts for opening. That is a separate entry in the budget.
Our priority list is based on 1-Safety, 2.Revenue producing and
3.Aesthetics.

IDEAS FOR IMPRO{/EMENTS AND ADDITIONS
1. Begin improvement of bathrooms for better access for
Handicapped.
2. New tables or table tops for Restaurant
(That don't require use of table cloths)
3. Purchase refrigerator for BBQ Hut $1000
(Would allow additions to menu)
• •
4. Purchase portable bar that includes soft drink dispenser.
(Would allow bar to be set up wherever people are gathered to
increase revenue. Also used for members when main bar is used
for weddings.)
5. Frozen yogurt dispenser for BBQ Hut. `
6. Sand pit volleyball.
(Could probably be constructed by current maintenance crew at
minimal expense. Attraction for younger members we currently
lose.)
7. Fitness equipment in Tennis Hut.
(Staff is already always there. Used by many members now who
leave to go to another club for access. Would increase swimmers
use of tennis area. Member who suggested this indicated approx.
cost of $100000.)
9. Outdoor Ping pong table. ;-Z-
10.4etball court J
(Could be set up in parking lot near Admin building. Approx.
cost of 2 hoops and some lines is $1000.)
11. Miniature golf area
12. Lawn croquet
 J
(Mr. McAdams originally suggested this. In talking to
members, there have been positive comments and support.)
These suggestions have either been directly made by members or
are our solutions to members' requests for activities for
specific age groups or improved food service. You will notice
that our emphasis is on active participation because that
reflects the type of members we have and those we think we can
attract.
