SPECIAL NIFETING OF THE OAKBa10K VOLUNTEER FIREMEN'S ASSN
Special meeting called to order by the President, Ed :'sew, at

that sufficient were present to ratify the contract negotiated
oy the Negotiating Committee of the Board of Directors with
the Village of Oakbrook.
Attorney Trefts read the 2ontraet to the membership.
Mr. Fry discussed the value of a prrformance bond to be re-
quired of the Village to assure fire protection of those re-
siding without the Village but within the fire district.
There was a general discussion by the membership of the
advantages and disadvantages of the bond to insure performance
by the Village.

Mr. Fry feels a conflict of interest (1) notice improperly
drawn; (2) to protect the best interests of those outside
the Village they should as a minority take these steps:
(1) the minority will ask the Village of Oakbrook to insure
performance by bond or (2) take steps to insure specific
legal guarantees.
