Roll Call The regular meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by President Howell. All trustees were present except Trustees Brown and Glaves. II. READING OF MINUTES Trustee Philip moved - seconded by Trustee Congreve... That the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of February 8, 1977 be suspended and that they be accepted as submitted. Voice vote - all in favor III. ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, VARIATIONS, PLATS, ETC. So ordered. A. Ordinance No. G -212 GRANTING VARIATIONS TO SECTIONS X.B.5.,XI.E.7., AND XI.D. OF ORDINANCE NO. G -60, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, TO THE TERRITORY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT OF THE INTERSECTION OF 22nd STREET CERMAK ROAD AfdD WINDSOR DRIVE, OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS. G -60, AS AMENDED, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS IT RELATES TO TRAILERS AND HABITABLE VEHICLES President Howell deferred action until the next regular meeting of March 8, 1977. C. Ordinance ASCERTAINING THE PREVAILING RATE OF WAGES FOR LABORERS, WORKMEN AND MECHANICS EMPLOYED ON PUBLIC WORKS IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS President Howell deferred action on this matter. D. Ordinance No. S -369 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. S -7, THE ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS Proration of fees for Class A, B, and C licenses. To ap rove and ratify the following investment: 1� 1976 Revenue Bond Fund Participation in the Illinois Treasurer's Investment Pool, in the amount of $9709000.00. OLD BUSINESS A. Sports Core Appraisal Trustee Cerne moved - seconded by Trustee Philip... That L.P. Darrow Realty Consultants, Inc. and John S. Clark & Son /J.F. Butler & Co., the two qualified low bidders, be retained as appraisers of the Sports Core. Roll call vote: Ayes: Trustees Cerne, Congreve, Philip, Rush, and President Howell Nays: None Absent: Trustees Brown and Glaves So ordered. B. Owen Property - Amendment, Special Use, Variation Petitioner presented amended proposal basically in keeping with R -4 Zoning, and after review he indicated redesigning could increase some lot areas. Trustee Cerne moved - seconded by Trustee Rush... To defer to meeting of March 8, 1977. Voice vote - all in favor C. Iron Removal - Well No. 3 Trustee Congreve moved - seconded by Trustee Philip... To authorize the expenditure of $15500.00 for iron removal testing. So ordered. Bid Recommendation - Well No. 6 Eleven bids were opened February 15, 1977. Trustee Congreve moved - seconded by Trustee Philip... To award the contract to low bidder, Pat Filippi Contractors, Inc. along with Alternate No. 2 for the total sum of $111,240.55. Report of Activities- Administration & Communication - Trustee Philip - Recommendations for water conservation were contained in report to Mayors & Managers Conference. Traffic - Trustee Glaves No report Zoning & Planning - Trustee Brown No report VI. NEW BUSINESS A. Open Forum No response. B. Well Request - Butterfield Office Plaza, 2625 Butterfield Road Trustee Congreve moved - seconded by Trustee Cerne That the request for a well to be used in their cooling towers and lawn sprinkling system only be approved.
