Dean Board Room of the Village Commons at 7:30 P.M. 1. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: President Wence F. Cerne Trustees Walter C. Imrie Ronald P. Maher Arthur W. Philip Joseph H. Rush H. Richard Winters ABSENT: Trustee Karen M. Bushy II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Trustee Philip moved, seconded by Trustee Maher... That the Minutes of the Committee -of- the -Whole Meeting of February 9, 1987 be approved as presented and waive reading of sane. VOICE VOTE: All present, in favor. So ordered. ORDINANCE NO. 5-602 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PARTIAL ABATEMENT Tax payer benefit program adopted November, 1979 and reviewed annually. Proposed ordinance provides for a taxpayer benefit by authorizing a Tax Abatement of $300,000.00 of the 1986 tax levy for the Sports Core Bonds. Trustee Imrie moved, seconded by Trustee Maher... OLD BUSINESS: A. Proaosed DuPage County Convention Center: Discussed at the Regular Meeting of February 10, 1987. Daniel Goodwin, Chairman, from the Du Page Civic Center Authority gave a brief explanation on the progress of this issue. Trustee Philip summarized the report of the Civic Center Authority. Daniel Goodwin was available to answer questions. After discussion, it was requested that Mr. Goodwin keep the Board infbrmed of further Civic Center Authority progress. B.
