The Village President, T. A. Mohlmon appointed Mrs. Agnes P. O'Brien, to 7 towful resident of the Village of Oak Brook, Acting Village Clerk to servA in the absences of Airs. Phyllis Perkins. Trustee Kolar suggested that the agenda be in the following order, le Presentation of proposed Police Ordinance 2. Disoussion on Preliminary Pinanoiel. Report r 3. Uisoussion on letter of resignation presented to Sergeant McCu*lagh. The Board oonourred and this agenda was adopted, Trustee Kolar exo1olned in detail the need for the new Ordinance to renleoe the August, 1958 Police Ordinance. Csntsin Ott reported his views as agreeing with those of Trustee Kolar. A disoussion followed and s; President Moh']man polled the Board. The Board's consensus was that the Ordinance was prem* ,are. F, Trustee Kolar moved for the edolotion of the Polioe Ordinance, The motion died for the went of a second. Trustee O'Brien moved to table the Ordinance for further study, Trustee Calhoun seconded it. President Mohlman called for a voice dote whieh carried. Police Ordinance was 'tabled for further study. Ayes - d, Nays - 0. Motion carried. S --a ° Village Attorney Bowers read an ordinance calling an election Arril 16, 1963. Trustee Rossman moved fbr adoption. Trustee Krueger seconded it. Roll cell vote: Ayes - 6, r;aiys - 0. Motion carried. Said Ordingnae 5.25 is attached to these minutes, President Mohlman read a letter of resignation from Mr. Steve Repley. Trustee Calhoun moved that hie resignation be accepted. Trustee Roseman seconded it. Motion .carried. T.etters read by President Mohlman from Julius W. Renort attached to these minutes. Mr. E: New presented a petition to annex a parcel of land south of 31st Street extending to Salt Creek, into the present Village of Bak Brook, Trustee Calhoun made a motion to send the petition to the 01anning Cmmmission. Trustee Carley seconded it. Motion carried. Trustee Roseman requpsted infbrmati.on regerding the Scavenger Servioe an-1 was info -Med that interested parties should attend the March 14, 1951 meeting for further consideration. Trustee Carley stated Sergeant NoCullagh's letter of resigna. tion should be tabled awaiting motion by the Sergeant to withdraw his resignation. It vrsa so ordered.
