The Oak Brook Village Board of Trustees met Tuesday
Match 10th, 1959.
Roll was called and &he minutes approved as read except
for the following correction: Paragraph 5 should'read:
014r. Julius Butler introduced Mr. Wesley Bustler and
recommended to the President that Mr. Buetler become the third
member of the Police Committee - -•
President Mohlman explained to the Board the suggestion
made by the Police Committee to have 5 members appointed to the
Police Department. These 5 people were introduced by Police Leiut.
Ott. It was decided to Liable the above suggestion and to hold an
executive Board meeting Tuesday march 17th 1959 4t 7;30. Mr.
Carley, fir. O'Brien and one or more members of the Police Committee
were asked to attend.
Mr. Calhoun made the moticn spc^nded by Mr. Kolar and
passed by the Board to approve the Presiden4 appointment of Mrs.

Elizabeth Ott as the first police woman in the Oak Brook Police
Department.
A motion to annex certain territory to the Village of Oak
Brook was made by 14r. 4ar'lson and seconded by Mr. Krueger., This
ordinance will be known as S -11, a copy of which said ordinance
Is attached hereto and by reference made a part of these minutes.
The voting was: Mar, Calhoun - yes, Xr. Carlson - yes, Mr. Krueger --

A certified copy of a court order disconnecting certain
territory from the newly organized municipality of Utopia was
filed, with the clerk along with a petttlon regarding the annexation
of certain unincorporated area to the existing municipality of Oak
Brook.
