York Cemeter;_- Authorization to remove bodies (S ®41) Mr. Julius Trefz - authcrized agent of the York Cemetery Association - presented evidence to the Board in support of his request for an ordinance authorizing the remuvaal of certain bodies from York Cemetery. Mr. Trefz stated that such Village acti.ott would impose no liability on the Village of Oak Brook or the Trustees individually. Further, no costs would be incurred by the Vilage whatsoever. Mr. Calhoun moved - seconded by Mr. Roseman... 'hat the ordinance authorizing removal of certain bodies from York Cemetery be adopted as presented. That an ordinance amending an ordinance regulating and licensing public passenger vehicles -.-+thin the Village of Oak Brook (known as G-32) be ado-p*od. Taxi Cab Lic nses Mr. Roseman requested a continuation of this meeting on Tuesday, March 27, to further consider the issuing of taxi cab licenses - iorswich as Per. Owen was not present at this meeting. President Mohlir --n indicated his willing» ness to continue. With respect to requiremeats for licensing of taxi cabs, Mr. Roseman moved - seconded by Mr. Carley... That the Chief of Police be authorized to waive that portion of the r,rdinance relative to the Secretary of State sticker being on file with the Police Department, as it should be affixed to the vehicle. Mr. Mohlman pointed out that whereas this property is not within the Village limita, Northern Illinois Gas Company had requested an opinion from both the Village Board of Trustees and the Plant Commission. Further, this has been recomatende.d by the Village Engineer. Mr. Roseman moved seconded by Mir. Dahm1ow... Dsan relative to the possible appoint• went of Mr. Charles Miedes and Mr. Robert De Witt to the Plan Commission if such appointments would mret with Mr. Dean's approval.
