The meeting was called to order at 8:14 P.M. by Vilta ge
President T. A. Kohlman. All Trustees were present except
Trustee O' Stien.

That reading of the minutes of March 9W, 1965, Pe suspended
and that the minutes be accepted and approved a$ submitted.

It was unanimously decided to postpone further ®etioa.. in
regard to surplus funds until the next regular meeting on
April 13th.

A. Base Farm Planned ComamgnitX - Phase
President ]dohlman read aaa letter, dated March 15th, from
Ate. Erwin B. Pahnsen , acting chairman of than Oak Brook
Plan Commission regarding the approval of the preliminary
plat of the proposed Base Farm Planned Community - Phase 1.
Mr. Jayne Doran of the Oak Brook Development Company was
present and there was further discussion between Mr. Doran
and the board of trustees.
Trustee Hvrey moved a seconded by Trustee Owen...
That the village board approve the preliminary plat of
the proposed Base Farm Planned Community -Phase 1. subject
to the Play Commission's recommendations of March 1.�th,
which include ae public hearing before the Zoning Board of
Appeals and a covering letter from the Oak Brook: Develop-
ment Company' it regard to the a:vaeilarabilityg on the final
overall plans of school and park sites where mutually agreed
upon by the school board and park dis♦ -ric _ _

that it be forwarded to the Zoning Board of Appeals for

President Mohlman read a request, dated March 23, 1965,
from Mr. Ralph Joe ms, attorney for the Hertz Corporation,
for a special use permit, and directed that it be forwarded
to the Plan Commission fcor their recottamendation.
D. Vacation of .S ring Road at L6th Street
Trustee Roseman moved - seconded by Trustee Van Dyke...
That the board approve the vacation of a parcel of land
on the northeast corner of Spring Road and 16th Street,
which is a portion of the right-of-way.

After discussion, it was decided that Trustees Owen and
Navey further study the above proposal and report to the
board at their next regular meeting on April 13, 1965.

Allis - Chalmers roand grader for the amount of $2,200
and an international 240 tractor with as 210 mower for
$400 from the Butler Company

0. Oak Brook Civic Association a Dr. Younix Request
President Mohlman presented a requeat from Dr. Youog for the
use of the village hall board room on a monthly baste. After
discussion, it was deeided that the existing policy of
limiting the use of the village board room to official
villa&,- business be maintained.
Trustee Hayes moved - seconded by Trustee Havey...
What, because of Dr. Young previous comittment to the
members#' of his executive board, he be permitted the use
of the board rooter on March 3Laat, L955.
