The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President
Cerne in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Village Commons at 7:30 P.M.

Distribution Syatem Computer Model Study" between the Village of

To concur with the recommendation of President Cerne to appoint
Walter C. Imrie, 209 Oak Brook Road, as a member of the Library
Commission, term to expire May, 1990.

B. Recommendation - Jafari - Side Yard Variation (2425 22nd Street):
Application has been made for a side yard variation which would allow
the construction of an awning or canopy which would extend east from
the existing building approximately 28 feet, 2 feet from the Tower
Drive right -of -way.
The Zoning Board of Appeals, at its March 6, 1990 hearing, recommended
approval of this Side Yard Variation based on the findings of fact in
the letter of Marci; 12, 1990 from Chairman Saving.
Trustee Winters moved, seconded by Trustee Bushy...
To direct the Village Attorney to prepare the necessary ordinance
relative to the requested Side Yard Variation at the subject location.

C. Recommendation - Martinek (3515j 3603 York Road):
1. Lot Area and Lot Width Varietions
2. Rezone from R -1 to R -3
3. Brush Hill Acres - Preliminary Plat
At the Regular Meeting of February 13, 1990, the requested variation
was referred to the Zoning Board of Appeals for consideration of a R -2
development with the Final Plat to be sent to the Plan Commission
following Village Board action on the Rezoning and Variations.
The Zoning Board of Appeals, at its meeting of March 6, 1990, failed to
recommend approval of any of the requested variations.

To direct the Village Attorney to prepare the necessary documentation
to rezone the property from R -1 to R -2.

granting variations to allow a 7 -lot Subdivision as depicted as one of
the alternate plans.

Im rovements - Flood Plain §Mcial _Use:
The Plan Commission, at its Meeting of February 19, 1990, and the
Zoning Board of Appeals, at its Meeting of March 6, 1990, recommended
approval of the Special Use Permit based on the condition that the
Village of Oak Brook obtain permission from the Illinois Department of
Transportation Division of Water Resources for said project.

To direct the Village Attorney to prepare the necessary ordinance
granting a Flood Plain Special Use Permit for the Ginger Creek Roadway
Improvements.

Request to obtain proposals from the three (3) presently licensed
refuse haulers (Clearing Disposal, Oak Brook Disposal, Rotes Disposal)
for the establishment of a landscape waste collection program.

To authorize Staff to obtain bids for landscape waste collection for
the Village of Oak Brook.

To waive competitive bidding due to the unique nature of said work and
to accept the proposal from Nels J. Johnson Tree Experts, Inc., the
lowest responsible bidder, at $30 /hour for tree trimming and pruning at
the Sports Core during the 90/91 fiscal year, not to exceed $15,000.00.

temporary fencing; b) temporary signage; c) a temporary Class D Liquor
License; d) use of the Oak Brook Golf Clubhouse for the Courtesy Car
Headquarters for the period of Monday, June 4th through Sunday, June
10th, 1990 and any necessary extension of not more than two (2) days as
might be required due to inclement weather.
