That the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of March 14th, 1972, be suspended aT%d that they be accepted as submitted. Voice vote - all :Ln favor. So ordered. III ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS t VARIATIONS,, PLATS,, ETC. A. DuPaRe County LibraEl Sgatem Resolution - R -190. Each tavatee was provided with a copy of a proposed resolution directs that application be made for miembershio in the DuPage Library system. Trustee Hayes moved - seconded by Trustee O'Brien... That Resolution R -130 be passed and approved. Roll Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Baschen, Congreve, Hayes, well, O'Brien. Rueh and President Dean. Hayes - Done So ordered. B. amendment to Depository Ordinance AddinE Firs, Security Bank - 9-248. Peter Roeters, Oak Brook Disposal, dated March 18th, 1971; and Mr. Abel HOving, Having end Sons, Inc., dated March 23rd, 1972. After discussion the followir$ motion was made. Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Mayes . , . That the application of Roving and Sons, Inc. for an additional scavenger license be denied. Roll Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Baschen, Congreve, Ray", Howell, O'Brien, Rush and President Dean. Mayes - None 3o ordered. 11 Page 2 V NEUT BUSINE.RS A. Police Pension Fund - Village Contribution. Each trustee was provided with correscondence from Mr. Michael L. Mory, Supervisor, State of Illinois Department of Insurance, dated February 28th, 1072, stating that the amount necessary to amortize the actuarial deficiency of the Police Pension Fund is $1,116.00. After discussion, the folloving motion was made. Trustee Howell novpd - seconded by Trustee Rush... That the amount of X1,116.00 be transferred. from the Corporate Account to the Police: Pension Fund to amortize the actuarial deficiency of the pension fund for the current year. Roll. Call-Vote: Ayes - Trustees Baschen, Co+ngreve, Hayes, Howell, O'Brien, Bush and President Dean. Nayes - None So orderp-4. B. MFT Surplus Fonds Manager Urhausen recommended that a surplus of $60,000 in the Motor Fuel Lax Fund be invested in approved depositaries. Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Bush... That the village cleric and treasurer be directed to place $60,000 in appxvved depositaries bearing the highest available interest rates. Roil Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Baschen, Congreve, Hayes, Howell:, O'Brien, Raab and President Beam. Hayes - None So ordered. C. Sam Increase - Manager James N. Urhausen. s. . r ■ Trustee Congreve reported that the Salary Administration Committee recom -anded that Manager Urhausett be given a 10°, salary increase and an automobile. Trustee Congreve moved - seconded by Trustee Howell... That Manager Urhausen's salary be increased from $20,000 to $22,000 effective with the first pay period in April, and that he be given an automobile for the administration department. Roll Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Baschen, Congreve, Hayes, Howell, O'Brien. Rush and President Dean. Waves - None So ordered, D. Appointment of Member to Plan d;cmmission. Prrsident Dram recommended the appointment of Mr. Harold Scott ` -o the Oak Brook Plan Cocl1a!ti.ssion due to the vacancy created by the expired terra of I►ir. ,son D Turrel.. Tn,;atee Conureve moved by Trustee- Howell... That President Dean's recemrendation be approved and that Mr. Harold Scott, 16 Chatham Lane, Oak Brook, be appointed to serve on the Plan Commission for a three year period.
