Brook Forest - Recreational Areas Trustee Howell presented a complete report regarding the steps taken to resolve an acceptable courpe of action relative to the Brook Forest Recreational Land question. Mr. Howell stated the positions of =be agencies involved, presented the reasuning of the village board subcommittee composed of Trustee Rush and himself and recommended the following disposition of the properties involved. "That the lots designated "Ally "BIT and 'TO" (19 acres) 1i given by the Oak Brook Develope-atCompany to the Skook Forest Homeowners group as a private matter between the Oak Brook Development Company and the Brook Forest Homeowners group. That the Oak Brook Development Company certify by letter to the Village of Oak Brook an offer in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the approximately six acres bounded by platted streets immediately north of the Brook Forest achooL site to be received by any agency acceptable to the Village, `presumably the School Board or the Park Board). That the Village of Oak Brook accept in this cape without precedent setting prejudices on future capea , the nine acre school siMe and the additional six acre site imed- Lately north of the school as set aside landp referred to In the Oak Brook Zoning Ordinance.
