1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order by President
Craig in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Butler Government Center at 6:30 p.m.

Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons
PRESENT: President John W. Craig, Trustees James Carson, Jeffrey J. Kennedy, Moin
Saiyed, Robert G. Sanford and Gerald Wolin.
ABSENT: Trustee Kathryn F. Manofsky.
IN ATTENDANCE: David Niemeyer, Village Manager; Blaine Wing, Assistant Village
Manager and Mark Sterk, Village Attorney;
ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING
The selection of a person to fill a public office, as defined in this Act, including a vacancy
in a public office when the public body is given power to appoint under law or ordinance,
or the discipline, performance or removal of the occupant of a public office, when the
public body is given power to remove the occupant under law or ordinance (20).
Motion by Trustee Sanford, seconded by Trustee Kennedy, to adjourn to closed meeting
for the selection of a person to fill a public office, as defined in this Act, including a
vacancy in a public office when the public body is given power to appoint under law or
ordinance, or the discipline, performance or removal of the occupant of a public office,
when the public body is given power to remove the occupant under law or ordinance
(20). ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5 - Trustees Carson, Kennedy, Saiyed, Sanford and Wolin.
Nays: 0 - None.
Absent: 1 — Trustee Manofsky. Motion carried.
ADJOURN /RECONVENE TO REGULAR MEETING - 7:30 P.M.
Motion by Trustee Wolin, seconded by Trustee Sanford, to adjourn and reconvene to the
Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees at 7:00 p.m. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
