CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order by President
Gopal Lalmalani in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Butler Government Center at
6:31 pm.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with.the following persons:
PRESENT: President Gopal Lalmalani, Trustees Michael Manzo, Mark Moy, Gerald
Wolin, Asif Yusuf, and Elaine Zannis
ABSENT: Trustees Stelios Aktipis
IN ATTENDANCE: David Niemeyer, Village Manager; Blaine Wing, Assistant Village
Manager; Peter Friedman, Village Attorney; Robert Kallien, Community Development
Director; and Michael Hullihan, Public Works Director
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING For the purpose of discussing the (1) purchase or
lease of real property and (2) minutes of meetings lawfully closed under this act pursuant
to section 2C(5) and 2C(21)of the Illinois Open Meetings Act, respectfully
Motion by Trustee Zannis, seconded by Trustee Wolin to adjourn to closed meeting for the
purpose of discussing the (1) purchase or lease of real property and (2) minutes of meeting
lawfully closed under this act pursuant to section 2C(5) and 2C(21)of the Illinois Open
Meetings Act, respectfully.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5 — Trustees Manzo, Moy, Wolin, Yusuf, and Zannis
Nays: 0 — None
Abstain: 0 — None
Absent: 1 — Trustees Aktipis
Motion carried.
This meeting was adjourned to Closed Meeting at 6:32 p.m.
4. RECONVENE
The Special Meeting of April 24, 2012 of the Village Board of Trustees was reconvened at
7:01 p.m.

6. APPROVAL OF CLOSED MEETING MINUTES
Motion by Trustee Wolin, seconded by Trustee Aktipis to approve the closed
meeting minutes from the following dates: October 26, 2010, November 9, 2010,
November 16, 2010, December 4, 2010, December 14, 2010, January 11, 2011, and
January 25, 2011. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
7. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Wolin, seconded by Trustee Zannis to adjourn the Special
Meeting of the Board of Trustees at 7:02 pm. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
