THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK APPROVED AS WRITTEN ON
MAY 24, 2005.
1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
President Quinlan requested. that all those in attendance to participate in the
Pledge of Allegiance at 7:44 p.m. of the Special Meeting at the Oak Brook Bath
& Tennis Club, 800 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL.
PRESENT: President Kevin Quinlan, Trustees Stelios Aktipis, George T. Caleel,
Susan Chase Korin and Asif Yusuf.
ABSENT: Trustees John W. Craig and Elaine Zannis.
IN ATTENDANCE: Richard Boehm, Village Manager; Jeffrey Moline, Assistant
Village Manager; Fire Chief Robert Cronholm; Police Chief Thomas Sheahan;
Kenneth Kubiesa, Village Attorney; Harlan Spiroff, Assistant Village Attorney;
Margaret Klinkow, Library Director; Nelson Patras, Interim Bath & Tennis Club
Manager; Fire Battalion Chief Thomas McEllin; John Baar, Chairman of the
Board of Fire and Police Commission; Champ Davis, Chairman of the Zoning
Board of Appeals; Lexi Payovich, Chairman of the Plan Commission and former
Police Chief Allen W. Pisarek.
2. WELCOME BY VILLAGE PRESIDENT:
President Quinlan welcomed all of those attending the special evening for the
official swearing in ceremony of the three newly elected Village Trustees Jeffrey
Kennedy, Kathryn Manofsky and Robert Sanford.
3. INTRODUCTIONS:
President Quinlan recognized the following people in attendance: Trustees
George Caleel, Susan Chase Korin, Stelios Atkipis and Asif Yusuf; John Baar,
Chairman of the Board of Fire and Police Commission; Richard Boehm, Village
Manager; Jeffrey Moline, Assistant Village Manager; Fire Chief Robert
Cronholm, Police Chief Thomas Sheahan, Champ Davis, Chairman of the Zoning
Board of Appeals; Lexi Payovich, Chairman of the Plan Commission and former
Police Chief Allen W. Pisarek.
4. SWEARING IN OF NEWLY- ELECTED OFFICIALS:
Village Clerk Linda Gonnella gave the Official Oath of Office to the newly
elected Village Trustees Jeffrey Kennedy, Kathryn Manofsky and Robert Sanford.

CLOSING REMARKS BY PRESIDENT QUINLAN:
President Quinlan acknowledged that this was an exciting evening with three new
Village Trustees who ran a good campaign for their election and that they are now
ready to accept the challenges in their new roles in local government.

The special meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
