Trustee Howell, representing himseLf and Trustee Rose -ten as
a committee directed to study this natter further, reported
on his findings regarding this request.

That a temporary variation for a period of ten years be
granted to allow the construction of a stable 10 feet from
the West lest line and 55 feet from the rear lot line and
that the village attorney be instructed to prepare an
ordinance to this effect.

S. Oak gook Util-it Gam a n - Illinois Commerce Hearin
Trustee Howell reported that Attorney Benda had filed
grillage resolution R-74 with the Illinois Commerce
Commission at their hearing on May 16th, L967, and
that the next hearing would be held June L4, 1967.
Trustee Howell suggested that, if appropriate,-the
village attorney be instructed to prepare specific
objections to this rate increase. It was unanimously
decided that our village attorney study this matter
and advise the Hoard as to further feasible action.
C. Oak Brook Utility Comaanlr Fraanchi ee

President Dean read a memo from Attorney Benda, dated May 23rd,
1967, stating that, according to the franchise ordinance, the
boundary of the Oak Brook Utility Company is the boundary of the
village. However, he also itaated, that the Certificate of
Convenience and Necessity staters that the boundary of the Oak
Brook Utility Company shall be as staatee" in the Certificate
of Convenience. It was una nimoualy decided to request the
vilLaage attorney to reader an opinion se to the. possibility
of having the Certificate of Convenience coincide boundarp-
utse with the franchise boundary.
D. Woodland Home Owners Association - Fire Protection
Trustee Roseman reported that he had t :eta in contact with
both the TaaLL Trees, Inc. people and the Woodland Howe
Owners Association and suggested that they form a fire
protection district. President Dean requested Tru- stee =_
Rossman to write to the WoodLasd Home Owners Association.
