i The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was,called to order at 7:30 p.m.
by President Howell in the Samuel E. Dean Board,,Room of the Village Commons.

G. Midwest Club Preliminary Plat of Subdivision
Reviewed by the Plan Commission on May 15, 1978, the preliminary plat was
approved subject to recommendations relating to:
1) 35th St. road dedication;
2) Existing fence to conform to the zoning ordinance;
3) Extension of bicycle pathway; and
4) Roadway modification to Oak Brook Rd. at the main entrance of the subdivision.

To approve the Preliminary Plat of The Midwest Club as submitted, subject
to the Plan Commission recommendations as outlined in letter dated
May 16, 1978, from Chairman Richard Barton. In addition, the entrance on
Oak Brook Road is to be relocated 60' to the west as shown on "Plan B -
Entrance Detail," Job #1144, dated May 23, 1978, and that the developer
reconstruct that portion of Oak Brook Road as shown on the road profile
and agreed upon by the Village and Du Page County Highway Dept.; and that
street lights be waived; and bike paths installed in place of sidewalks.

To approve and ratify the following investment from the Water Fund:
One federally secured certificate of deposit in the amount of
$189,100 to mature at the First Federal Savings and Loan on
August 9, 1978, at the rate of 7.350. This certificate of
deposit is drawn on the following accounts:

Agreement to provide water to Joseph J. McNerney, Jr., for property lo-

to customers within the Village.

action to secure for the Village and its citizens free and uninterupted
use of the pedestrian and bicycle pathway, dedicated by the plat of

license for the 1978 Western Open Championship for the Tournament Week
of June 26 through July 2, 1978, plus the possible extension through
July 4, 1978, if inclement weather prevails.
