by the Road and Bridge Department on an hourly basis for the
past two weet4s, and recommended that Mr. Ray be placed on the
regular payroll

empLayee be approved and that he be placed on the regular
p*yroll at the rate of $6,240.00 per year.

received a sign from the Oak Brook Women'e Club.

That the Oak Brook Library be outborized to place the sign
on village property in accordance with the Oak Brook Zoning
Ordinance.

I. Oak ook Terrace
President Dean reported thee: where would be a closed special
meeting held on Juae 3rd, 1968, for the purpose of meeting with
Oakbrook Terrace officiate in regard to petitions C 68 6t6 and
C 68 6L8 filed with the Clerk of-the Circuit 0ourt .
Each trustee was provided with a copy of a petition for
submission of the matter of the Annexation of the City of
Oakbrook Terrace to the Village of Oak Brook filed by W. Thomas
F. Pierce, attorney for Mr. Wayne W. Huffmire and Mr. David W.
Overmyer, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of .Page County.
It was unanimously decided that an executive session of the
board be bald to discuss this matter. At LO :20 P.M. Provident
Dean recessed this meeting for this purpose. At LIAO P.M.
this meeting was reconvened, and the following motion map made.

County regarding the matter of anne3 wtion of the City of
Oakbrook Terrace to the Village of Oak Brook and that he take
the position that the court be requested not to not is favor
of the petitioners on the grounds that the Village of Oak Brook
has not had an opportunity to explore the matter with the
officials of Oakbrook Terrace.
