SPECIAL MEETING - BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, 1 978
I CALL MEETING TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at 7 :30 p.m.
in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Village Commons.

This is a Special Meeting of the President and Members of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook called pursuant to Motion duly made, seconded, and
unanimously carried by the Board of Trustees at its regularly held meeting on
Tuesday, May 23, 1978. The purpose of this Special Meeting is to consider the
following:
1. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. G--60, as Amended,
the same being the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak
Brook, Illinois, of 1966, establishing an ORA3 Office -
Research- Assembly District Zoning Classification.
2. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. G -60, as Amended,
the same being the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak
Brook, Illinois, of 1966, relative to Rezoning and Reclassi-
fying certain Territory commonly known as the "GHQ Property"
to the ORA3, Office - Research- Assembly Zoning Classification.
3. An Ordinance approving a Development Plan and a Development
Plat in accord with the provisions of Section X (D) of Ordinance
No. G-60, as Amended, the same being the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, of 1966, relative to Develop-
ment of the Property commonly known as the "GHQ Property"
in the ORA3, Office-Research-Assembly Zoning Classification.
4. An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. G -60, as Amended, the
same being the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook,
Illinois, of 1966, relative to rezoning and reclassifying certain
Territory commonly known as the "Village Greens Property"
from the B1., Local Shopping District, Zoning Classification to
the R3, Single Family Residential District, Zoning Classification.
Notice of this Special Meeting was delivered to all members of the Board on
May 26, 1978, and the same Notice was posted in the Village Hall and delivered
to all newspapers on record with the Village on the same date.

PLAN AND A DEVELOPMENT PLAT IN ACCORD WITH THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION X (D) OF ORDINANCE NO. G -60, AS AMENDED, THE SAME
BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,
ILLINOIS, OF 1966, RELATIVE TO DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROPERTY
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "GHQ PROPERTY" IN THE ORA3 OFFICE-
RESEARCH-ASSEMBLY ZONING CLASSIFICATION.

To approve Ordinance No. S -409 as presented and waive reading of same.

4. ORDINANCE NO. S -410: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G -60
AS AMENDED, THE SAME BEING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS, OF 1966, RELATIVE TO REZONING AND RE-
CLASSIFYING CERTAIN TERRITORY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "VILLAGE
GREENS PROPERTY" FROM THE B1 LOCAL SHOPPING DISTRICT ZONING
CLASSIFICATION TO THE R3. SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
