CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order by Village President
Gopal Lalmalani in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Butler Government Center at 4:05
p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: President Gopal Lalmalani, and Trustee Gerald Wolin.
ABSENT: Trustees Stelios Aktipis, Michael Manzo (arrived at 4:09 pm), Mark Moy, Asif
Yusuf (arrived at 4:07 pm) and Elaine Zannis.
IN ATTENDANCE: David Niemeyer, Village Manager; and Blaine Wing, Assistant Village
Manager.
DISCUSSION OF BOARD OF FIRE & POLICE COMMISSIONERS — VACANCIES AND
INTERVIEWS
Residents Edward H. Main and John G. Baar were interviewed for the Board of Fire and Police
Commissioners vacant positions. The applicants were asked the following questions:
1) Please briefly tell us about yourself.
2) Have you in the past or are you now involved with any community groups, boards or
commissions?
3) Why do you want to be a member of the Board of Fire and Police Commissions?
4) Is there anything in your background that if it became public would be embarrassing to the
Village of Oak Brook?
4. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Wolin, seconded by Trustee Yusuf to adjourn the Special Meeting of the Board
of Trustees at 5:05 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 3 — Trustees Manzo, Wolin, and Yusuf
Nays: 0 — None
Abstain: 0 — None
Absent: 3 — Trustees Aktipis, Moy, and Zannis
Motion carried.
