All Trustees vere present except Mr. H. A. Owen, Jr. and Mr. G. R. Roseman. 11 RUDING OF M1MUMES Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Dahmlew.., That reading of the minutes of May 14, 1963, and May 28, 1963, % suspended and that the minutes be accepted and approved as submitted. Voice vote - all in favor So ordered. III ORDINANCES and RESOLUTIONS A. Ordinances 1. Stop Si &n and Parking Ordinance G-47 Trustee Havey moved - seconded by Trustee Hayes... That the ordinance establishing through streets. stop intersections, four -way stop intersections, and prohibited parking areas, vhich ordinance amends ordinance G-10 and repeals Ordinance G-36, be approved and adopted as read. Raudebush Realty {Johnson Prover The qubstien was raised by Rioudebush Realty, Hinsdale., Illinois, as to what would be aacessary to subdivide the Johnson property on Spring Road into two parts. Village Attorney Bowers stated that if there mould be an access road present to both pieces of-property and if N-1.11 pieces conformed to the R -2 zoning of two scres mirimam that this could be done by merely submitting to the Vilinge Board a plat of the proposed subdivision. Squad �Rental Lease Proposals were read from Pectat Leasing Systems, Inc., and Ltwndal.e Auto Sales Co. for a lease on a car to replace the present station wagon, the lease for which expires June 13, 1963. Police ReRgrrtt All Trustees having been furnished copies, President Mohlman read portions of the report of the Police Department activities fir the mouth of May, 1963, said report being attached to these minutes. Trustee Owen moved - seconded by Tinsetee Dahmlow... 'Mat the Tillage Board accept the Police Department report as presented and that this report be placed on file. Voice vote - all in favor So ordered. Notes: Trustee Own requested that the Police Committee meet with the ftkbrook Center people to deterakine if some sobution might be arrived at to lessens the unnecessary calls in the canter. 2. S ed Sun. g Village Attorney Bogs will check into finding a traffic cvmter that may be used for a speed survey by the Police Department. Buildings Ins2lctor's Report The Building Inspector presented his report for the period to .dune 119 1963, copy of which is attached to these minutes, ('total $►934.90) Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Owen... That the Village Board accept :he Building Inspector's report as presented. Voice vote - all in favor So ordered. 2. Bu� iidi.& Files The question was raised by the guilding Inspector, Fra mk Pearson, as to whether the building files :could be considerdd "open to the public" for the purpose of compiling maiLing lists. The feelings of the Village Board were that all requests for information from these files should be directed to the Village Board and that they would be open to the public insofar as any requests for specific permits in the files. 3. Numbering System Building Inspector Drank Pearson reported on the progress of the street ma:mbering project. Note: W. Pearson _ ±equested that the Village Board consider the possibility of placing building restrictions on the con - struction of swimming pools within the Village since at present there are no restrietion+s whatsoever. Hasrbour Construction Company in the aunt of $39,100.00 plus alternate No. 1 for $400.,00 making as total bid of $39,500.00 subject to receipt of a dared for the premises from the present owner.
