The DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference has been negotiating the
franchise fees for electricity with Commonwealth Edison. The suburbs have

now reduced to .53 %. This is lowered from $1.40 to $.47 per household per
month. This will be a savings of $32,978 to the Village residents annually and
to the County, an annual savings of $2,733,000.
Two seminars have been organized for the On -Site Assistance Program.
Emergency Management training sessions for elected officials and staff are
scheduled for a half -day workshop June 21, 1995 anj a one -day workshop

2000. Trustees are to contact President Bushy with any suggestions, as it will
be presented to the Village Board in the near future for consideration.
