Each trustee was pruvidwr4 with a copy of a recommendation
excerpt from the plan commission minuted dated Sune 7, 1971
and a letter from Mrs. Margaret 0. Coffin, member of the
zoning board of appeals dated June 18 1971. Each board
recommended that the special use request be granted.
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Ha Y ea _ : ,
That a $Decial use permit for the operation of a gympasi.um
in the B -2 RegionaL Shopping Center be granted in accordance
with submitted plaits dated May 17. 1971, prepared by E. N
Zisook, and that the village attorney be directed to prepare
an appropriate ordinance for adoption at the next regular
meeting of the board.

Each trustee Was provided with a copy of a recommendation
excerpt from the plan commission minutes dated Jenne 7, 1971,;
a letter from Mrs. Margaret O. Coffin, member of the zoning
board of appeaks. dated June 18th, 1971; and a letter from
Mr. Nicholas T. Kitsos, attorney representing ARCO, dated
June 16th, 1571, Both the plan commission and the zoning
board recommended denial of this petition and Mr, Kitaos
renuested that it be referred to a committee of the board of
trustees for Further study, Mr,, Kitsoa spoke in behalf of
ARCO, After, discussion the following motions were made:

Mr- Alfred V. Centofmtte, Manager, Planning and Zoning,

Ssch trustee was provided with a mewmrandum fm Clerk Fricek,
dated June 15, 1471, advising thut a total of t140925.33 has
been received from Marshall Field & Co., Draper & Kroner and
Sears, Roebuck and Co. covering their share of the contractual
cast for fire protection services with the Butterfield Fire
Protection District, tog ®ther with a letter from Attorney
Teschner stating that the village of Oak Brook's phAre is

Mayors and Manager's Conference joint purchasing committee
and its project of preparing specifications and soliciting
bids for a joint gasoline purchase for the entire county.
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Howell...
That the village administrator be authorized to enter into
an agreement contract with American Oil Commv for a period
of twelve months for the purchase of regular gasoline at
5.146 per gallon and preinimm gasoline at S.166 per gallon.
