JUNE 23rd, 1964
I ROLL CALL
The meeting was celled to order at 6:10 P.M. by Village President
T. A. Pohlman. ALL trustees were present except Mr. Peter H.
Dahmlow.

That reading of the minutes of June 9th, 19614, be suspended
and that the minutes be accepted and approved as submitted.

ordinar.;e adopting the Suburban Building Officiate
Conference Building Code, March, 1964 Edition, as an
amendmpnt to the Building ReSulations of the Village
of Oak Brook.

4. Flick Preliminary Mat
Mr. Homan Steenhof presented his client's preiim1wry, plot
and was assured that the Village of Oak Brook g1,.ruld provide
police protection to this area.

That the expendiM -c of $154.00 be approved for the

the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund for possible
adoption by the village board.

3. 1964-65 FL±ecal Budget
Trustee Owen moved - seconded by Trustee O'Brien...
That the budget as presented and corrected in the total
amount of $319, 941.40 (Corporate Fund $372,941.0 and
Road & Bridge Fund $7,000.00) be approved by the Village
Board and made a matter of record.

After discussion, it was unanimously decf'ad to postpone final
payment of $1,200.00 to Carl L. Gardner & Associates, Inc.
until contract is completed an' approved by the village board.
(Total contract - $8,000.00)

After discussion, it was unanimously decided to postpone final
payment of $4,774.81 (Total contract - $1:;,645.76) to Oak
Brook Terraoe, Inc. until such goad is formally dedicated tc,
the village of Oak Brook.
D. Road Work
After a epecial committee rjeeting attended ty President Mehlman,
Trustee Havey, Trustee Hayes and Mir. Halsted, a representative
from Might & Co.; it was decided that inasmuch as the road
work outlined in the minutes of May 26th had not been done, .,ar
vilLeage engineer would prepare bid specifications, publish same
in The Doinggtj on June 25th and have bid forms ready for pick-up
by prospective contractors at the Vi,Llaga Hull. Bids will be
reviewed at the next regular board meeting :.n July 14th.

C. Laaroon Variation Withdrawal
The Richard R. Larson request for vaariaation was withdrawn
on Tuesday, June 16th. PIresident Muhtman was served with
a notice of coropltaint (Case No. 1- 64-1380) of Olson ve
Larson on June 23rd, and immediately tadvinsad Mr. Olson of
Mr. Larson's wi.thdrewtal. Ica a letter sent to W. Olson this
date.
