Article VII, Sec. 3. Para. F of Ordinance G -140 Subdivision
Regulations Ordinance adopting street lighting standards for
the Village of Oak Brook,

That the proposed nmendment be refer "d to the Public Works
and Utilities Committee for revienr and comments. Inspection
of installations similar to those proposed are to be viewed by
same.

Each trustee was provided with a copy of Plat of York Woods
tftit V and cony of Letter from Engineer Dunkirk dated Juni 22,
1973 recap ending approval with the atipvlation that the ore-
visions of the Subdivision Regulations Ordinance be met.
Mr. Phil'Dreseler, petitioner for final plat approval of York
Woods Unit V presented a letter dated June 26, 1973 requesting
action be tabled to the next board meeting of July lo, 1973.
Board unanimously agreed to table some.
E. Illinois Fire Protection and Traini Act.- Resolution
Each trustee was provided with a copy of meno from Manager
Carmignani dated June 21, 1973, and a letter from Illinois Fire
Protection Personnel Standards & Education Comission, dated
May 30, 1973 and Questionnaire. A copy of proposed Resolution
R -144 to participate in the program under the Illinois Fire
Protection and T:I ing Act and application for certification
as a Recruit Fire Service Training Center was also sent to trustees.
Chief Mae comented on the advantages of having this training
facility at Static,n #1.

B. Water Service Area - Status Report
Managger Camignan.i commented that a report would be made to the
Public Works and Utilities Committee who would then report to
the Board at the next regular board meeting of July 10, 194It 3,

Each trustee was pror-_ided writh a copy of Plan Comission situates
dated June 18, 1973- recowmending the waiver of the sidewalk
requirement for final plai approval of York Woods Unit V.
Dr. Robert Deiss , Pre vident of York Woods Homeowner's Association
cemented that the petition for sidewaLks previously presented
was from residents in the immediate area of the prorosed sub-
division and waa not reprpaentative of the entire York Woods area.

That the sidewalk requiresent for final plat approval of York
Woods Unit V be waived.

The Cer- ificates of Deoaslt are to be reviewed for the
possibility of reinvestment in Treasury Notes.
The Committee is invsstigat~iag the restructuring of billing
for the Water Department to a 50 day period rather than a
30 day period.
The up-- dating of long range capital improvement plans will
be reviewed. The plans for the Sports Core area were deferred
for review in September.

the request from the Oal- Brook Park Disti4ct for the waiving
of fees in conjunction VLth the construction of the Oak Brook
Park District Raccruet Club. This does not include the fees
in conjunction with water connection charge and sealer service.

under the 1973 MET Maintenance Program as approved by the board
on June lath. 1973.

for furnishing and installing 392 torts of Bituminous Sot Mix
Sand Seal Cast oro Robinbood Lane and Femdale from 35th Place
to York Road and on Bradford Lane fxou Sheffield Lane to
Windsor Derive and 1493 tons of Bituminous Resurfacing on
Regent Drive from Oak Brook Road to Ginger Creek.
Bids are to be opened at 10:00 A.M.. July 17, 1973 in the
T. A. Hohlman Board Rom of the Oak Brook Village Hall.

from Illinois municipaz. League regarding "Property Tax Freeze
Act of 19731- recommending that municipalities oppose this
limitation which places a tax freeze on all taxing bodies.

That Manager Kenneth G. Carmignani notify legislators of
village opposition to this pending legislation.
