That the Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook
go on record as being opposed to the formation of the
Oakbrook Terrace Community Park District, in that
certain portions: of the proposed district are within
the village limits of the 'Pillage of Oakbrook, which
Village already has oots3ta€sding, nationally recogo -Lmd
recreational facilities, and further that the
President and Attorney be instructed to take whatever
action they deem appppropriate in opposing the formation
of such district, inrlixdie:g the filing of formal
obJections if feasible.

B. Police Department

President Mhlman read a letter dated July 5, 19629
From Stanley J. Lipceynski, commonding the Police
Department and particularly Officer Treiber and
Sgt. McCullagh for their work at the scene of an
automobile accident.
2. SecVitZ Personnel
Chief Sludsinski to ask Sears Roebuck to have their
attorney contact the Oakbrook Village Attorney.
3. Polio. Rea2rt
President Mah2man read the report of the Police Depart -
ment activities for the month of June, 1962. Said
report attached to these minutes.

That the Police report be accepted as submitted.

Trustee O'Brien asked if a letter had been written regarding
the sooding on 16th Street. President Mohlman asdvisod that
it had, but no response to date.
