MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Monday, July 16, 1984
I CALL MEETING TO ORDER:
The Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of July 16, 1984 was called to ord( -r by
President Cerne in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Village Commons at 7:30 P.M.
II APPOINTMENT OF RECORDING SECRETARY:
John H. Brechin was appointed Recording Secretary by acclimation.

Trustees Walter C. Imrie
Robert E. Listec ki
Ronald P. Maher
Trustees Arthur W. Philip
Joseph H. Rush
William R. Watson
After considerable discussion regarding recent events affecting the DuPage Water
Commission, including recent legislation, Senate Bill 1859, Public Act 83 -1123,
a motion was made by Trustee Imrie, seconded by Trustee Maher to pass the Ordinance
entitled: "An Ordinance Declaring an Intent to Recind the Obligation of the Village
of Oak Brook for a Proportionate Share of Development Costs of a Project Proposed
by the DuPage Water Commission ".
ROLL CALL VOTE: Ayes: Trustees Imrie, Listec ki, Maher and President Cerne
Nays: None
Absent: Trustees Philip, Rush and Watson
So ordered.
President Cerne further noted that this matter should be placed on the next regular
meeting of the Board of Trustees agenda for a further status report on additional
developments.

This meeting was adjourned at 8 :14 P.M.
