Letter is to be sent by the Village Manager to all Homeowners' Associations advising them of a meeting to follow the above mentioned meeting at 8:00 P.M. and inviting their attendance. Village Manager to set up a meeting with Fullersburg Woods Homeowners to be held at old St. John's Church on Wednesday, August 13, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. Finance & Capital - Trustee Baschen Trustee Baschen reported that Pora Construction Company expects to be out of the Village Commons on August 6. Labor Day weekend is the target date for movement of books from present Library to temporary quarters in Engineering Department in Village Commons. Volunteer help is solicited in this moving project. Report of Activities - Continued Public Works - Trustee Congreve See Item VI -A. Traffic - Trustee Glaves Attended meeting with OBACI - they are interested in RTA bus service. Village staff ( OBACI assisted) completed traffic surveys to determine traffic signalization at York Road at Tollway. Surveys indicate that we can justify them. OBACI very pleased with appointment of Consultant J.J. Benes on Route 83 Study. Zoning& Pianning - Trustee Brown Three important projects pending: Mayslake: Plan Commission meeting presentation went into detail; talked about single family Detached homes (130) and 152 Single family Attached homes which are clustered in the south section around 35th St. which will take R -4 Special Use. Area shows problem re density. Subject tontinued to next Plan Commission meeting (8/18/75) at which time developer will present revised plan. Clayton: Staff has been working with our village attorney on developing a Pre - Annexation Agreement. Some areas they are working on - waiving of sidewalks and question of fees that developer will pay, portion of open space, water supply, Park District, special improvements. Staff will be able to work out a satisfactory pre - annexation agreement. Hawthorn: See Item VII -A. t Trustee Brown stated that the Plan Commission of the Village of Hinsdale will give a decision on McDonald's the middle of August, and that there will be a hearing on the Healy property on August 25. VII NEW BUSINESS A. Hawthorn Realty - Request for Annexation & Rezoning (Saddlebrook) Trustee Brown moved - seconded by Trustee Cerne... That the Village of Oak Brook provide for a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 14, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. at the Brook Forest School, 60 Regent Drive, Oak Brook, Illinois, and that Notice of Public Hearing be published in the local newspaper on July 24, 1975. This will be a Joint Meeting with Board of Trustees, Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. Roll Call Vote: Ayes - Trustees Baschen, Brown, Cerne, Congreve, Glaves, Philip and President Howell. Report on Water Improvements - Village Manager Carmignani presented a draft copy of an Agreement for Water Service and letter to the President & Board of Trustees of the Village of Lombard requesting assistance. Our request will be on agenda for their board meeting of July 24, 1975. The manager was asked to represent the village at that meeting. C. Authority to Bid - Squad Cars Trustee Cerne moved - seconded by Trustee Glaves... That we authorize advertising of bids for 10 squad cars, with an alternative for smaller size cars; bids to be received on August 29, 1975.
