The Oak Brook Village Board of 'trustees met August 9th
at 8 PM. Roll was called with everyone present except Mr. Krueger.
The July minutes were approved as read,
the
the 'Village Attorney was instructed -to drew /petition and
annexation ordinance for the properties of Helen Hall, David Ott,
Keith Line Stables and Butler Company.
—16" The President read the Ordinance regulating and Licenaing
Scavengers which shall be known as G-159 a. copy of which said ordinance
is attached hereto and by reference becomes a part of these minutes.
Mr. Calhoun moved, Mrs. Peyton seconded to adopt the ordinance.
Motion carried unanimously.
A copy of the proposed Misdemeanor Ordinance was given to
each Trustee for study and notion will be taken at the continuation of
this meeting.
In the absence of Mr. Owen, the treasurers report was read
by Mr. O'Brien. Mrs. Peyton moved, seconded by Mr. Carley to accept
the treasurers report for the month of �Wg. Motion carried. A motion
was made by Mr. Kolar, seconded by Mr. Calhoun and passed$ by the Board
referring the E. V. Price Co bill and the Fuller Gasoline bill to the
Police Committee for study and recommendation. The entire #3 Voucher
was tabled until the continuation meeting.
Mr. O'Brien moved, seconded by Mr. Calhoun to accept the July
Police Report given by Chief Tyrrell. Mr. Calhoun moved, seconded by
Mr. Carley to postpone until the continuation meeting the approval of
a Police Budget. Motion carried.
The letter from the States Attorney's office was reintroduced

by Mir. Oarley. bars. Peyton moved, seconded by Mr. Carley instructing
the Village Attorney to prepare a contract between the Village cf Oak
Brook and the County Board of Supervisors covering medical attention
for any village prienors in the county jail. Motion carried.
Mrs. Peyton moved. seconded by Mr. O'Brien to refer the letter from
the Zoning Hoard of Appeals to our Plan Commiasion with a request that
one of their members be present at the public hearing Aug+ast 11th in
Lombard, Motion carried.
President Mohlman appointed Glen Mandell and John Ssntoniello to the
regular police Force as patrolmen, Mrs. Peyton moved, Mr. Carley seconded
to approve the appointments. Roll call vote was taken. Motion passed
unanimously.
At, 9 :25 Mr. Kolar moved seconded by Mr. Carley not to sd journ trAa
meeting but to recean until Tuesday August 16th at 700.
