The meeting was called to order at 8:10 PM by 'Village, President
T. A. Mohlman. All Trustees were present:

To renew the scavenger licenses of Healthway
Rubbish Disposal Service, Inc., Elmhurst Trucking,
ar,A Countryside Refuse Disposal for the fiscal.

President Mohlman read ,a report. from tha Zoning Board
of Appeals of July 24, 1962 - which concurred with
ttaP recommendation of the Platt Commission - recommending
that both petitions be denied at this time.

That the Schram petition for annexation and rezoning
be denied, bused on the report of the Zoning Board
of Appeals.

IV ANPEXATIONS
A. Bor.neman Patition
Village Attorney Bowers advised that annexation of
property to the Village of Oakbrook could extend across
Route 83.
B. Pending Annexat.oc; Petitions
President Mohlman asked that the Board of 7rustees give
further thought to tha pending petit;cas For annexation,
so that ubey any he ag8i ft considered at the Board Meeting
Of Septeefoer 1-1, 1952.
C. Procedure Zoning nnxre o f_Ap;w-ei3
Village Attorney Bowers advixed that he will be attending
Zoning Board of Appeals meetings for the next few sessions.
In response to President Mohlman's inquiry, Attorney
Bowers advised that the Zoning Board of Appeals is required
to draft a resolution in their own minutes, but common
practice -in most villages is to file a report with the
Vipage Board for reading at Board meetings.
V FINANCLAL
A. Treasurer's Report
Village Treasurer Vact Dyke presented a report for the
month of July, 1962 a showing "cash on deposit" at the
end of the month of $27,094.96.

a. Chief Siudeinski is to attempt to borrow a
traffic counter preliminary to establishing
speed limits.
b. Attorney Bowers is to prepare an amendment to
orJivance G-10 to regulate stop signs.

Attorney Bowers advised that he has drafted an
indemnity agreement to be signed by Mr. Metcalf
of Seers Roebuck. Upon its return, the Village
can then appoint Sears Roebuck personnel as
reserve police.
B. Building Ins actor
Mr. Frank Pearson presented the Building Inspector's
report for tine wath of July, 1962 •- copy of which is
