Minutes - 09/08/1959 - Board of Trustees
SOT- -M QA). %tie September 8th meeting of the Oak Brook Board of Trustees eras called together by Mr. Mohlman at 7:45 rm, Roll was called and the August minutes approved as read. After the reading of the Weed Ordinance by President Mohlmen,certain suggested corrections having been made, Mtn. Kolar made the motion, seconded by Mrs. Peyton to adopt this G -7 ordinance, which shall be known as 4 -7. A copy of this ordinance is attached hereto and by reference made a part of these minutes. The votings Mr. Rolm - yes, Mr. Krueger - yes, Mrs. Peyton - yea, Mr- Carley - yes, Mr. O'Brien - yes and Mr, Mohlman - yes. Ayes - 6, Nays - O. After hearing the treasures report, the motion was made by Mrs. Peyton, seconded by Mr. O'Brien and passed by the Board to accept the'report, a copy of which is filed with the clerk. Mr. Owen asked permission of the Board to pay Village expenses amounting to 4382.54. The notion to approve payment was spade by Mrs. Peyton, seconded by Mr. O'Brien and passed by the Board. The August Police Report was recd by Lt. Ott./ -fXX #A / Mr. Raymond Van Dyke was asked by President Mohlman to inquire from Illinois Bell Telephone the chances of getting a free phone for the Oak Brook Police Department. The motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:05 PDT was made by Mr. Of Brien, seconded by Mrs. Peyton and passed by t1w Board, The Folios Report was given by Lt. Ott. Mr, Kolar made the motion seconded by Mr. Peyton to approv's President Kohlman's appointment of Curtis L. XaOullagh ae Sergaant in the Oak Brook Police nepa:°tment. A petition to annex certain territory between 22nd Street and Butterfield Road was filed by Mrs, Carolyn Henke which petition was signed ty the following: R. C. Larkin, Ethel W. Larkin, lit. Bishop, Olive Bishop, Herman Menke qnd Carolpn Henke alleged to be all of the owners thereof and all of the electors residing there�nn. Mrs. PeytonA moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:1!3 PX.
