ALL trustees were present except Mr. Peter H. Dahmlow, and 4r. R. W. Havey. It READING OF MINUTES Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Hayes... That reading of the minutes of August 25th, 1964, be suspended and that the minutes be accepted and approved as submitted. Voice vote - all in favor. So ordered. III ORDIN=ES AND RESOLUTIONS A. Ordinances L. M-1, 1ne. Parcels A and B - Rezoning Ordinance .S-86 Trustee Roseman moved -• seconded by Trustee Hayes... That the ordinance amending the Oak Brook Zoning Ordinance to change the moning of the M-1, Tvc. property, ]Parcels A and B, from R-.2 to M- limited Manufacturing District be approved and adopted as read. (Total Building Permits $L,327.45) Trustee Owen moved o seconded by Trustee Roseman, That the Village Board accept the Building Inspector's Report as submitted. . Voice vote ¢ all in favor. So ordered. 8. Police Department 1. PoLfce Report President Mohlman read the report of the Police Department activities for the month of August, 1964. Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by V ustee Hayes... "'hat the Village Board accept the Police Department report as presented and that this - report be placed on fl.Le. Voice vote - all in favor. So ordered. 2. Police nepg tu*nt_ Commendation President Mohlman announced that the Jewel Store and the Bank of Oak Brook was most happy with the manner in which the Oak Brook Police Department handled the recent robbery. He stated that Sergeant Walthers hal worked an extra four hundred hours since January solving kfdnapi.nga, hold- ups, burglaries and bad check eases, and that he consPered him a dedicated policeman. Trustee Rosman moved .. seconded by Trustee Omen... That the Village Board has always had the utwost u6nftvence in the capabilities and efficiency of the Oak Brook Police Department, and that based on the information at !nand at this tune, the board wishes to commend Chief Siudeinski, Sergeant Walthere and all members of the police department for their handling of the recent Jewel, Store robbery in the Oak Brook Center.
