The regular weting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by President
Dean. All trustees were present.

That the reading of the minutes of the regular meeting of
October 13th., 1970, be suspended and thaat they be accepted
as submitted.
Voice vote - all in favor. So ordered.
President Dean suspended the regular agenda and asked Adminis-
trator Utrheusen to introduce the four new police department
desk ope. ators .
Administrator Urhausen introduced the following personnel and
we Lcm,ma d them to the village police staff:

III ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, VARIATIONS, PIATS, ETC.
A. Gottlieb & Beale = Oak Brook International Office Center Plat
Mr. Jams Lewis, repreeenting the developer, presented an
artist's rendering of the proposed office center. Village
Engineer Dunkirk presented a storm water retention plan to be
:.ncorporated in this project.
Trustee Howell moved - seconded by Trustee Roseman...
That the plat be approved subject to the conditions out-
lined by Oak Brook P)An Cession Chairman Swain in his
zmemorandum dated September 29th, L970; subject to the
conditions outlined by Village Engineer Dunkirk in his
memorandum dated October 23rd, 1970; and subject to a
contractual agreement between the developer and the
village and approved by the village attorrmy.

Administrator Urhause.n and mr. wilson Connell of the Oak Brook.
Develcapsent Company prevented the problems regarding the
placing of Jorle Boulevard on said plat.

That the matter be tabled with a request that it be re-
ferred to Butler C mpany and the Oak Brook Da ve lrapft nt
Companl with a me ndation that tba are in Joeie Boule-
vard be adjusted 18+0 feet to the west of the section lime.
It was the opinion of the board that this adjustment would
eliminate any reverse Curves in Jorfa Boulevard as it ex-
tends in a north/south direction.

filing in the office of the village clerk copies of the fire
preyerntion code recommended by the American Insurance
Association » 1970 Edition.

Attornay Unverangt presented copies of a pr*posed ordinance
amanding Oak Brook Subdivision Regulations Ordiumce 0 -37.
President Dean directed that this matter be tabled end
placed an the agenda of the regular matting of November 10th,
1970.

Each trustee was provided with a copy of a propoozae ordinance
regulating construction to leseen a- avoid hazards to parson
and damage to property resulting from the accumulation of rs:noff
of storm or flood ws to r in the Village of Oak Brook
President Dean directed that this matter be tabled and placed
on the agenda of the regular meeting of November 10th, 1970.

Each trustee was provided with a copy of a letter from McDonald r s
dated October Sthf 1970, requesting that the bme of Enco

That the village admiuistrator be instructed to deny dais
request and convey to the petitioner that the village
board will not favor any street name being named after
corporate residents in the future.

recommended that the firm of Holabixd and Root be retainad for
this project,
