At the request of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook, John P. Kinsella was invited to attend thie board meet-
ing for the purpose of being awarded a special villaga eo=nadation
for his outstanding achievement at the Olympic Swimming competition
in Mexico City this year, President Dean requested Trustee Rowell
to make this presentation, whereupon Mr. Howell greetkd John and
requested him to come forward. Resolution R• , which was adopted
by the village board on October 8, 1968, was ream and presented to
John along with an e_ngreved bronze meda11ion -type dime of the
official village seal. John thanked the board and the village for
their support and confidence in his ability in thin• endeavor.

President Dean read a letter from Zoning Board Chairman Rhodes,
dated November 6th: 1968, recommending that the village board
great the amendment as requested by the petitioner; and a tether
from Miss. Margaret Thompson, dated 'until 8th, 1'968, request-
ing that this amendment be delayed until a plat is approved on
the eint.Ire parcels. of Land from Spring Road to Highway 83. After
discussion, this matter was tebted and the village attorney was
requested to draft P suggested revision to this ordinance to
ansure that the 194 feet between the executive building and the .

C. Salt-Creek Highlagda Vacation Flat
Each trustee was provided with a copy of an Easement Igreement,•
dated 9/23/68, signed by Paul. Butter; and a letter from Mr.
Butter's attorney, Robert E. Stevens, addtessed to W.•Novacek "'r
attorney,, Charles W. Spencer, dated October 74, 1968, skating
that he regretted that Mr. NoveceK was not satisfied with the
agreement and that the church was anxioas to push forward with
construction and if an agreement Could not be reached vitbe n the
next week it would again be presented to the village board.
Attorney Frank J. taxe, substitute attorney for W. Novacek, re-
quested that this matter b, tabled for approximately a month's
time.

has been prepared by Auditor Dolan at a Cost of $50.00 per month.
Tie original intent of this request was to obtain a monthly record
of expenditures by budget items, aaad the vfLiage board unanimously
agreed that Auditor Dolan be requested to prepare a monthly report
showing the r mural budget abw11,wt, the monthly cumulative budget
,fanount, the actual monthly cumuLative amount and the variance for
each coded account at a cost not to exceed $50.00.

Each truszte : was provided with a copy of a letter from
Village &igitaeer^ Earner, addressed to President Bean,
darted November 7, 1968, atating that a final inspection
was made with representatives of oak Brook Development
Company and Consoar Townsend on October 7, 1966, sled that
Trustee Hayes ana Engineer Berner made a final inspection
for the village on November 5, 1968 and found everything in
a satisfactory condition except for three minor deficiencies
which have since been corrected.
