The meeting was called to order at 8:06 P.M. by Village

Trustee O'Brien moved seconded by Trustee Calhoun...
That reading of the minutes of October Q, 1462, be
:uspended and that the minutes be accepted and approved

III ORDINANCES and IESOLUTIONS
A. Borneraan Annexation
Village Attorney Bowers war requested to prepare an
ordinance providing for annexation of thie property as
coon as the pi. er legals are received from Mr. Aorneman.
B. Beaumont Plat
Discussion deferred until later in this meeting.
C. Liquor Ordinance S -48
Tne issuance of two License: authorized under Ordinance
5 -48 to Old Mill Tavern and York Tavern was approved by
the Village Board of Trustee!.
D. Beaumont Plat
M.r. James P. Beaumont requested that the Village Board
approve the use of his property, 1.35 acres on Spring Road
in Oak Brook, and give applicable zoning. He wa,- adviree
by the Village Board that the present toning waE suitable
for the use he wished to make of the property.
E. Oak Brook Center Parkin Ordinance G -41 (Amending Ordinance
C-1J
Trustee Roasman moved - seconded by Tru-tee Owen...
that an ordinance amending traffic control ordinance G-10
be approved and adopted by the Village Board as prevented
and read.

G. Amendment to Oak prook7oning Ordinance
President Mohlman informed the Village Board of a proposed
amendment to the Oak Brook Zoning Ordinance and directed
that the proposal be forwarded to the Plan Commirsion for
it: recommendation.

1. Police Report
President Mohlman read the report of the Police Depart-
ment activities for the month of October, 1962. Said
report attached to these minutes.

That the Village Board accept the Police Department
report as pre£erted.

2. P.I.C. Pr2posal
Trustee Dahmlow moved - ceconded by Trustee Calhoun...
That Mr. Robert J. Hajek be employed n Radio Community
cation6 officer in the Oak Brook Police Department
without police power or fringe benefitr, at a salary
of $L2.00 per month (for the Ba.e Station) plue $5,00
per month for each mobile radio set u.ed in the
department. Employment to start with the next pay
period in November, 1962.

3. Civil Defense Ordinance (G -42)
President Mohlman advised the Board that Chief of Police
Siudzinski had tendered his resignation ae civil defense
director inasmuch as he had too Duch to do.

That the Civil Defense Ordinence be placed on the
Agenda undet Section III A. as Item No. 10 for

Johnstone as of November 23, 1962, at an annual salary
of $5800.00.

The appointment of a replacement for Radio Operator
Teschke was left to Police Chief Siudaineki, Trustee
