Dean Board Room of the Village Commons. I. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Trustees Walter C. Imrie Robert E. Listecki Ronald P. Maher Arthur W. Philip Joseph H. Rush William R. Watson ABSENT: President Wence F. Sports Core Tax Abatement: Program initiated in 1979 and reviewed annually. Trustee Philip moved, seconded by Trustee Listecki ... To provide a taxpayer benefit by authorizing a Tax Abatement of $300,000.00 of the tax to be levied in 1984 for the Sports Core Bond Retirement and to continue providing the garbage pick -up of once per week at the curb at a cost of $168,000.00 for a total Taxpayer Benefit of $468,000.00; and that the Attorney prepare the necessary documents to effectuate same. Personnel: Trustee Maher moved, seconded by Trustee Rush ... To call a Special Meeting on November 29, 1983 at 7:30 P.M. for the purpose of discussing the Salary Administration Plan. VOICE VOTE: All present, in favor. So ordered. 3, Public Safety & Traffic: Trustee Listecki - RTA Bus operates from Naperville to Oak Brook. Brief discussion on widening of Route 83. 4. Public Works: Trustee Imrie - Leaf pick -up will continue through November 315 1983. 5. Sports Core: Trustee Philip - Sports Core rate structure figures will be ready for January 9, 1983. 6. Zoning & Planning: Trustee Watson - No Report. NEW BUSINESS: A. Request - Oak Brook Park District - 1OK Run (1984) Mr. Jon Summer, Executive Director of the Oak Brook Park District, made a presentation on the proposed 10K run for Oak Brook residents and Corporate participants to be field April 29, 1984, beginning at 8 :00 anticipating g that the last participant will finish at 9:30 a.m.. Staff was directed to continue working with the Park District to facilitate the run. B. Trinity Lakes III - Reduction In Letter of Credit (35th Street Repair and Resurfacing): Trustee Imrie moved, seconded by Trustee Rush ... To authorize a reduction in Letter of Credit No. 616829 from Continental Bank in the amount of $7,881.97, leaving a balance of $225,149.64. To authorize President Cerne to communicate with the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (ISTHA) a request for them to 1) wiave the annual oc- cupancy fee of $500.00; and 2) waive the requirement of a five (5) year $10,000.00 permit bond and accept in its place an Intergovernmental Agreement.
