That the reading oi' the minutes of the regular meeting of
November 9th, M171. be suspended and that they be accepted
as submitted

III ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS, VARIATIONS, 'FLATS s LTC.
A. LaX Nelsen - Side Yard Variation Ordinance S-244.
President Mean read a proposed ordinance granting a variation
to Mr. Ray Nelsen, 4014 Adams Road, to permit a side yard
of 15° 3/4" on the south and to permit a north side yard
variations from 40 feet to 38 feet so as to allow for the
construction of an addition to his prevent home.
Trustee Rush moved - seconded by Trustee Howell...

B- Amenament to Increase Number of Linuor Licenses Ordinance S -245.
Each trustee was provided with a copy of a proposed ordinance
amending Ordinance S -7 to increase the number of Class A
Licenses issued within the Village of Oak Brook to eighteen (18).
Trustee O'Brien moved -- seconded by Trustee Rush...
That the reading of the proposed ordinance be waived and
that rhis !ordinance S - -245 be passed and approved by the
village board

Each trustee was provided with a copy of as proposed ordinance
nmending Ordinance S-218 i o include the National Bank of Oak
Brook as an anprsved depositary of the Village of Oak Brook.

of an excerr.t from the Oak Brook Plan Commission minutes
of November ; Sth, 1971, recommending approval of saga
Trustee Hayes moved - seconded by Trustee Congreve..
That Harry 0. Owen, .yr.'s Resubdivision plat be approved
by the village board and that the proper village officials
be authorized to affix their signatures thereon.

A. Pedestrian and Traffic Safety - Windscr and York Roads.
Each trustee wau provided with a Memorandum of Record from
Manager Urhausem dated November 119th, 1971, and an accompanying
fact sheet listing the chronology of events regarding the
proposed installation of a traffic light at York Road and
Windsor,
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Basehen...
That the proposed traffic_ light at Windsor and York Road

S . Police Danaremen L Vehicle -- Bids Received.-
Each trustee was provided witih a letter dated November 19th,
1971, froze Manager Urhausen; listing five bids which were
received for the purchase of a replacement vehicle for Chief
Sizemore and recommending that the bid of Jack Loftus Ford
of Hinsdale be accepted by the village board. Trustee Emmll
noted that the two lowest bids did not reflect the actual cost
of comparable enuipment and re nested that this information be
renu e s t ed .

This item was deleted from the regular agenda.
B. Fags Transit District-Study Prove .
Each trustee received a copy of an excerpt fram the Oak
Brook Plan Commission minutes of November 15th. 1971, and
a copy of a letter from Mr. John D. Turrel addressed to
Chairman Swath, dated October 6th, 1971, regarding the
formation of a mass transit district.
Mr. John Turrel appeared before the board and presented
his reauest for board support in regard to this proposal,
and advised that the village would soon have a mitten
reauest from the Chicago Area Metropolitan Area Trat„aportat�. d
System (CHATS) regarding village participation in this project.
President Dean thanked Mr. Turrel for his interest and
advised that the board would consider this reauest upon
its receipt from the above organization.
