ROLL CALL
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Vil:.cge
Presi.dant T A. Mohlman. ALL Trustees were present.
II READING OF MINUTES
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Hayes...
That reading ok' the minutes of November 10th, 1964, be
suspended and th -At t.ie minutes be accepted and approved
as submitted.
Voice vote - all in favor. So ordered.
TII OLD BUSINESS
A. Fire Truck
Chief New presented spec:ilicstions for an 65 Vt. Elevated
Platform Fire Truck, compt, to with 1 000 GYM Pump and 500
Gallon Booster Tank. Thepo were reviewed by the villeg;.
board and it was unanimously decided to publish a tâ–ºotice
for bids in the December 3rd issue of the Doings with
such bids being opened on December 22nd, 1964 at 8:00 P.M.
B. 41olice Citations
President Mohlmaa presented citations from the National
Police officers Association, dated October 20th, to
Sergeant Glenn Mandel for Chief Richard Siudzinski, Sergeant
Harold Walthers, Sergeant Glenn Mandel, Officer John Janik
and Officer Richard McKenzie. The citations were for
"aiding capture and arrest of a criminal who was endAn,ering
the lives and property of the people of his communxt /."
This action took place on August 21st during the Jewel Tea
Co. store robbery.
C. Buell - Anderson Complaint
President Mohlman reported that ter. Buell is presently
maintaining four horses on his property instead of the
original seven animals. He also stated that this number
will probably decrease and that there would be no more
than four at any time.
IV NEW BUSINESS
A. Re-appointment.-of Mr. George McHenry
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Ha -ey...
That Mr. George YwHenry be re- appointed as chairman
of the Oak Brook Zoning Board of Appeals for a period
of five years effective November 17th, 1964.
Voice vote , all is favor.
B. Road I_mprovements
So ordered.
President Mohlman read his letter of November 20th, addressed
to Colonel Wight, Village Fngineer, regarding road improve -
mm nt inspection made by himself and Triistee Hayes.
Trustee Owen moved - seconded by Trustee Dehmlow...
That, upon the recommendation of the village engineer,
and after the personal inspection of the president and
road commiAsioner, the village board approve and accept
the M-1, Inc. - Frontage Road to A.E.D.
Voice vote - all in favor. So ordered.

C. Swimming Pool Ordinance
Discussion of the proposed swimming pool ordinance was
tabled until the next viLlage board meeting on Decembrr
Sth, 1964.
D. Budget
The village board reviewed a six month summary of
expenditures and was urged by Trustee O'Brien to give
due consideration to the preparation of next year's
fiscal budget.
E. Oak Brook Zoning Ord trance, Amendment
President Mohlman read Plan Commission Chairman S. E. Dean's
Letter, addressed to the village board, dated November 12th,
1964, regarding his recommendations covering the proposed
Oak Brook zoning Ordinance Amendment. After discuasior.,
it was unanimously decided to uphold further action until
the next %iLlage board m,,0-ins it Docember 9th, 1964.
F. Firemen's Reimbursement for Damaged Clothing
Trustee Roseman moved - seconded by Trustee Owen...
That damage to clothing incurred at the Lane residence
fire on September Oth, 1964, totalling $28.95, be
approved for payment to the firemen i..molved.

Absent - None So ordered.
G.Fire Department Mutual Aid Agreement
President Mohlman read a letter from the Firemen's
Association of Central, Cook and DuPsge Counties which
requested our participation in their mutual aid program.
This hatter was pacsed on tb,thi -fire committee for
their consideration.
