That the rending of the minutes of the regular mcating of
November 12th, 1968, be suspended and that they be accepted
as submitted.

President Dean read PLazy Commission Chairman Swain'a letter,
dated November 21, 1968, and Dcwners Grove Village Manager
Wayne Barfet's Letter, dated November 22, 1968. After dis-
cussion, President dean requested Messrs. Swain, Rush and loose.
man to meet with himself and representative of Dowmers Grove to
discuss tLis matter further. This meeting will be an open
public meeting and the press will be notified of aame velL in
advance of the date.
B. Pancotto - Annexation Request

President bean read PLan Commission Chairman Suvain's letter,
dated November 21, 1966, recommending that this petition be
denied. Trustee Rossman suggested that a Letter be written
to all the property owners within this unificorporated area
requesting that they indi,: ate their preference in regard to
annexation.
Trustee Rush moved -. seconded by Trustee Barton...
That this petition be tabled until bh% Rossr en's suggestion
is executed and replies are received.

G. Francis -Annexation Request
President :Dean announced that a petition for annexation from
Paul and ifuriel C. Francis' had been filed with the viLl.ege on
November 18th, 1968, and requested that this petition be
forwarded to the Plan Commission for their consideration.
D. Fire PreVention Ordinance G -96
President Deals rend excerpts from a proposed ordinance amending
Ordinance G -Ll which specifically requires compliance with tile
applicable £i.re protection standards of the Department of L'ubtic
Safety.
Trustee HowelL moved seconded by Trustee O'Brien...
That Ordinance G -96 be passed and approved by the village Ward.

M-esident Paar read a letter from Engineer Barner, dated
'lave tuber 21, 1968, recommending that Ordinance G-37 be amended
whezeby residents would be authorized to replace the present
curb and gutter with a State Standard-type depressed curb.
Trustee Howell moved - seconded by Trustee Rossman...
That the village attorney be requested to draw an
ordinance amending 0--dLuence G-37 as recommended in
Mr. Saucer's Letter.

En-ineer Bar ner's Letter of November 11, 1968, stated that the
completion bond should be in the amount of $5,240.00.
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Hayes...
That the village board approve the final plat of Subdivision
No. III (Windsor/Swift Area), and that the village eterk and
treasurer affix their signatures thereon subject to the
receipt of the required bond and proper review and
inspection fees.

Subdivision No. IV (N.V. Corner Swift/Wiudasor) and that
the village clerk and treasurer be authorised to affix
their signatures thereon.

The Oak Brook Plan CoMMisaion approved O.B.D.Co. Subdivision
No. 11 at their regf'_er meeting held on November LSth, 1968,
subject to the village engineer being satisfied that the
development company has met all the normal requirements on
the dedication of any road, ineludinf po$tiug a band, felts and
core rests.. Village Engineer Berner a letter, dated November 25,
L968, stated the statue of the road invblved in this subdivision
insofar as fees were concerned and recommended that two core
tests be made in said road.

That Subdivision No. 11 be approved subject to the
making of two core testa as recommended by Engineer
Barger, the coat of which is to be borne by the develop -
ment compsr.y.

A. W.3. CoakIL Resignation from PLan Commission
President Dean "read a letter of resignation from Mr. 1-1. S.
Conklin as E. member of the Oak Brook Plan Commission. After
discussion, iL was unanimously decided that Mr. Conklin•s
resignation be tabled until President Dean approach Mr.
Conklin with the fact that it is not mandatory that members of
the pl.ag commission actual:Ly be residents of the village.

the jurisdictional agency involved to obtain %b4tever
information is available or to invite the tanmantder of

information as may be available. W. Larkins of York
Woods announced that a meeting wilt -be held at Butler
School at 7:45 P.M. on December 5tb, regerding this sub.
ject. President Dean advised that the.board would be
notified of any information that x1lot beeam ,available.

That the regular board of trantees meeting; scheduled
for Tuesday, December 24th, be cancelled.

That the sum of not more then $300.00 be spent for

Trustee Rush reported that the State Highway Department presented
a fu11 plan of improvements for Route 083 at the Mayors and
Managers Conference meeting one November 2®tb and requested thin
body's approval of same. He suggested that an agenda be made
available so that the representatives of the villages would have
time to review these proposals. Trustee Rush also provided each
truattee with a proposed resolution which will be on the agenda
of the Mayors and Managers Conference on January L5, 1969.
Trustee Hayes moved - seconded by Trustee O'Brien...
That the representatives of the Village of flak gook be
authorized to vote in favor of said resolution on
behalf of the village.
