IV NEW BUSINESS
A. Amointment - Mr. Samuel Esposito - police Pension Pond
President Dean recommended that Mr. Samuel Emoeito be
appointed to serve on the board of the Oak Brook Police
Pension Fund.
Trustee Congreve raved - seconded by Trustee Rush...
That the presid,.t nt • o appointment of Mr. Samuel Esposito
to serve on the board of the Police Pension Fund be
approved,
Voice vote - all in favor.
So ordered.
H. Request for Fire Protection - Sunn2 Hills Estates
Each trustee was provided with a letter fx Mr, Donald. R.
Blumthal, dated November 17th, 1972, requesting board consider-
ation on the matter of providing fire protection to Sunny Hills
Estates. After discussion, the following motion was made.
Trustee O'Brien moved - seconded by Trustee Howell...
That the reauest of Mr. Donald R. Bl mthal, representing
Sunny Mills Estates, be denied.
Voice vote - all in favor.
So ordered.
C. Salary and Peraonnel Administration Committee Report
Trustee Oungreve, ChAirmen of the Salary and Pereotatel
Adwinietrat on Committee, reaoamstended that this matter be
tabled for further consideration until the regular meeting
of December 12th, 1972. All trustees unanimously agreed,
D. CLass B Liquor License request
Each trustee Was provided with a letter from the Immaculate
Conception Church reouerting a C7.aes 8 liquor license for
the purpose of serving alcoholic punch at a parish benefit
at the Cinema ISO theatre on December 15th, 1972. This
request was unanimously approved by the board and it was
agreed that the $10.00 fee be waived.
E. Du Pane County Zoning Board of Appeals Notice #2405
Each trustee was provided with a copy of DuFage County Zoning
Board of Appeals Notice #2405, regarding a hearing which will
take place in the Lombard Village Hall on November 30th, 1972
at 7:30 P.M. This petition covers a special use permit for
property situated at the northeast corner of Meyers and
Butterfield Roads. Manager Urhausen reported that this meet-
ing would be attended and a report submitted to the board
at their next regular meeting.
F. 1 Maraar t Thompson -Oak Brook Utility __p"y Election
President Dean recognized Mrs. Margaret Thompson vho spoke
from the floor regarding the proposed purchase of the water
portion of the Oak Brook Utility Company. Mrs. Thompson
r+eouested that the. board voluntarily call for an election
on this Important matter. President Dean advised that this
matter will be given consideration by the board.
