1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of May 8, 2018 of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order
by President Gopal Lalmalani in the Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler
Government Center at 6:17 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustees John Baar,Philip Cuevas, Moin Saiyed, Edward Tiesenga,Asif Yusuf,
President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: Trustee Mango
IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex, Police Chief Jim Kruger, Village
Attorney Greg Jones, Attorney Benjamin Gehrt.
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING—TO DISCUSS MINUTES OF MEETINGS
LAWFULLY CLOSED UNDER THE OPEN MEETINGS ACT AND COLLECTIVE
NEGOTIATING MATTERS PURSUANT TO SECTION 2(c(21) AND 2(c)(2) OF THE
ILLINOIS OPEN MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Cuevas, seconded by "Trustee Yusuf, to adjourn to closed meeting
�-' at 6:18 p.m.
ROIL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5—Trustees Baar, Cuevas, Saiyed, 'I'iesenga, Yusuf
Nays: 0—None
Abstain: 0—None
Absent: 1 —Trustee Manzo
Motion carried.
4. RECONVENE -- The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
6:46 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Baar, seconded by Trustee Cuevas, to adjourn the Special Meeting
of the Board of Trustees at 6:46 pm. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
