1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of July 10, 2018 of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order
by President Gopal Lalmalani in the Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler
Government Center at 6:17 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustees John Baar, Philip Cuevas, Michael Manzo, Moin Saiyed, Edward
Tiesenga, Asif Yusuf, President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: None
IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex, Village Attorney Greg Jones, Village
Attorney Kevin Carrara, Village Attorney Bob Smith
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING – FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING (1)
MINUTES OF MEETINGS LAWFULLY CLOSED UNDER THIS ACT, (2)
COLLECTIVE NEGOTIATING MATTERS, (3) LITIGATION PENDING AGAINST,
AFFECTING, OR ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE, OR PROBABLE OR IMMINENT
LITIGATION AGAINST OR BY THE VILLAGE, PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
2(C)(21), 2(C)(2) and 2(C)(11) OF THE ILLINOIS OPEN MEETINGS ACT,
RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Yusuf, seconded by Trustee Cuevas, to adjourn to closed meeting
at 6:18 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 6 – Trustees Baar, Cuevas, Manzo, Saiyed, Tiesenga, Yusuf
Nays: 0 – None
Abstain: 0 – None
Absent: 0 – None
Motion carried.
Village Attorney Bob Smith exited the closed session at approximately 6:28 p.m.
Development Services Director Tony Budzikowski entered during the closed session at
approximately 6:30 p.m.
Village Attorney Kevin Carrara exited the closed session at approximately 6:44 p.m.
4. RECONVENE – The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
6:45 p.m.

5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Manzo, seconded by Trustee Cuevas, to adjourn the Special
Meeting of the Board of Trustees at 6:45 p.m. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
