A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED FINAL PLAT TITLE FOR THE
TEMPLETON WOODS SUBDIVISION TO TEMPLETON OAKS SUBDIVISION
IN THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, ILLINOIS 60523
(A parcel of approximately 57 acres, located at the Southeast Corner of
Route 83 and 35'h Street(f/k/a Brittwood Creek Subdivision), in the
Village of Oak Brook, Illinois)
WHEREAS, TK Templeton Woods, LLC is the owner of Lots 1 through 16 and 18 through 30 as
described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein; and Binu Philip, Trustee (together with
TK Templeton Woods, LLC, "Owners"), is the owner of Lot 17 as described in Exhibit A, (Lots 1 through
30 are collectively, "Subject Property'l; and
WHEREAS, on March 12, 2013, the Village adopted Resolution 2013-SR-FP-EX-R-1243 ("R-
9243") approving the Owner's final plat of subdivision of the Subject Property as depicted on the
subdivision plat attached as Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein ("Final Plat"); and
WHEREAS, on the Final Plat, the subdivision was named"Templeton Woods'; and
WHEREAS, the Final Plat has not yet been recorded; and
WHEREAS, the Owners desire to change the name of the subdivision from "Templeton Woods"
to"Templeton Oaks'; and
WHEREAS, the Owners submitted an amended Final Plat to the Village ("Amended Final
Plat'), attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit C, that designates the subdivision as
"Templeton Oaks"; and
WHEREAS, the Amended Final Plat does not amend any of the design characteristics of the
subdivision depicted in the Final Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Village Board have determined that it will serve and be in
the best interests of the Village to allow the Owners to change the name of the subdivision in accordance
with the Amended Final Plat;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: Recitals. The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated into, and made a part
of, this Resolution as the findings of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook.
Section 2. Approval of Final Plat of Subdivision.
A. Approval of Amended Final Plat. Subject to and contingent upon the conditions set forth in
Section 5 of R-1243, the Amended Final Plat prepared by Engineering Resource Associates
with a latest revision date of February 22, 2013, as attached to this Resolution as Exhibit C, is
hereby approved.
B. Authorization and Execution. The Village President, Clerk, and other appropriate Village
officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute and seal, on behalf of the Village, the
Amended Final Plat and the customary certifications indicating such approval.

C. Recordation. Upon the execution of the Amended Final Plat by all required parties, the
Village Clerk is hereby directed to record the Amended Final Plat with the Recorder of Deeds
of DuPage County, Illinois, and the Village Clerk will then be authorized and directed to
assess against and collect from the Owners of the Subject Property any costs in connection
with those actions or this Resolution.
Section 3. Repealer. Section 3.0 of R-1243 directing the Village Clerk to record the Final
Plat with the Recorder of Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois, is hereby repealed.
Section 4. Severability. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Resolution
shall be held invalid, the invalidity thereof shall not affect any of the other provisions of this Resolution.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
