The Gene Knific Trio, an adventurous group dedicated to
original works and unique explorations of classical and
modern genres, presentsThe Great American Songbook
and More.
Led by award-winning composer Gene Knific on piano,
whose latest composition was performed at this summer’s
Ravinia Festival, the Trio also includes Tom Knific on bass
and Jon Deitemyer on drums. The Trio performs jazz
classics as well as 20th century classical compositions.

The Evergreen Concert is free to the public, and reservations
are not required. A drawing for a free

their love of bats! Since 1996, they have been
promoting bat education; teaching and inform-
ing their audiences about the many benefits of
this misunderstood and feared creature. Best of
all, be able to get close to live African Straw-Colored Fruit Bats
and Egyptian Fruit Bats! All Ages.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Sign up your newborn, infant or toddler for our 1000
Books Before Kindergarten program. This ongoing
program will help build your child’s
vocabulary, print awareness, early
literacy skills and more as you read
1000 books before they start their
first day of Kindergarten. Stop by the

Teen Scene: DIY Tie-Dye Canvas Bag

We will be using Sharpie markers and rubbing
alcohol to create a tie-dye type affect on white
