1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of May 22, 2018 of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order
by President Gopal Lalmalani in the Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler
Government Center at 6:19 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustees John Baar, Philip Cuevas, Michael Manzo (via teleconference), Moin
Saiyed, Edward Tiesenga, President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: Trustee Yusuf
INT ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex, Development Services Director Tony
Budzikowski, Village Attorney Greg Jones
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING—FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING (1)
MINUTES OF MEETINGS LAWFULLY CLOSED UNDER THIS ACT, (2)
LITIGATION PENDING AGAINST, AFFECTING, OR ON BEHALF OF THE
VILLAGE, OR PROBABLE OR IMMINENT LITIGATION AGAINST OR BY THE
VILLAGE, PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 2(C)(21) AND 2(C)(11) OF THE ILLINOIS
OPEN MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVLEY
Motion by Trustee Cuevas, seconded by Trustee Tiesenga, to adjourn to closed
meeting at 6:20 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5—Trustees Baar, Cuevas, Manzo, Saiyed, Tiesenga
Nays: 0—None
Abstain: 0—None
Absent: 1 —Trustee Yusuf
Motion carried.
Trustee Yusuf entered during the closed meeting at approximately 6:24 p.m
4. RECONVENE — The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
6:54 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Baar, seconded by Trustee Tiesenga, to adjourn the Special
Meeting of the Board of Trustees at 6:55 pm.
