1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of May 7, 2018 of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order
by President Gopal Lalmalani in the Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler
Government Center at 5:12 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustees John Baar, Moin Saiyed, Edward Tiesenga, President Gopal
Lalmalani
ABSENT: Trustees Philip Cuevas, Michael Manzo, Asif Yusuf
IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING – APPOINTMENTS, PURSUANT TO SECTION
2c(3) OF THE ILLINOIS OPEN MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Baar, seconded by Trustee Tiesenga, to adjourn to closed meeting
at 5:13 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 3 – Trustees Baar, Saiyed, Tiesenga
Nays: 0 – None
Abstain: 0 – None
Absent: 3 – Trustees Cuevas, Manzo, Yusuf
Motion carried.
Trustee Asif Yusuf entered closed session at approximately 5:16 p.m.
Trustee Michael Manzo entered closed session at approximately 5:18 p.m.
4. RECONVENE – The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
7:23 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Yusuf, seconded by Trustee Manzo, to adjourn the Special Meeting
of the Board of Trustees at 7:23 pm. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
