1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of February 26, 2019 of the Village Board of Trustees was called to
order by President Gopal Lalmalani in the Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler
Government Center at 6:29 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustees John Baar, Philip Cuevas, Michael Manzo, Moin Saiyed, Edward
Tiesenga, President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: Trustees Saiyed and Yusuf
IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Rick Ginex, Police Chief Jim Kruger Village
Attorney Greg Jones, Village Attorney Benjamin Gehrt
Trustee Saiyed entered the closed session at approximately 6:30 p.m.
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING
FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING (1) MINUTES OF MEETINGS LAWFULLY
CLOSED UNDER THIS ACT, (2) COLLECTIVE NEGOTIATING MATTERS,
PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 2(C)(21) AND 2(C)(2) OF THE ILLINOIS OPEN
MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Baar, seconded by Trustee Manzo, to adjourn to closed meeting
at 6:31 p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5 – Trustees Baar, Cuevas, Manzo, Saiyed, Tiesenga
Nays: 0 – None
Abstain: 0 – None
Absent: 1 – Trustee Yusuf
Motion carried.
Trustee Yusuf entered the closed session at approximately 6:36 p.m.
4. RECONVENE – The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
7:09 p.m.

5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Saiyed, seconded by Trustee Manzo, to adjourn the Special
