resources for families to library business centers that help support entrepreneurship
and retraining, libraries offer opportunity to all!

Databases Highlights
Academic Search Premier
This database just might be the one to solve a dispute with your
friends. Academic Search Premier is a broad, interdisciplinary
database that covers a wide range of subjects. It includes a mix
of scholarly articles, popular publications and some newspaper
coverage.
How do you use it? Well, here is an example:
In what ways does ecotourism affect wildlife conservation in
Africa?
The first stop is to identify keywords to your search:
ecotourism, wildlife, conservation, Africa. Click search.
To revise your search, put quotes around words that must
be next to one another: ecotourism “wildlife conservation”
Africa.
Be sure to select full-text articles.
This type of search strategy can be applied to most all of our
databases. Give it a try!
Sampling of New and Upcoming Materials
You can place a hold on items checked out or on order through
our website www.oak-brook.org/library or stop by the Reference
