Pnoduct Description
Our inventory ol2 Tz" aerial shells is
unprecedented in terms of assortment
diversity and quality. Brilliant colors and
large break patterns allow us to showcase
our unique product lines and thrill your
audiences with an array of effects and
shapes that only Melrose can provide.
This selection of assorted 3" shells will fill
the night sky with color and sound. Laying
the foundation of your display in the
canvas of the dark, our diverse collection
of colors and break patterns look great
alone or when used as complimentary
devices in combination with effects such
as candles and multi-shot boxes.
Our catalog of 4" shells is second to none
in terms of both quality and diversity.
Whether we are enhancing a scene of low
level effects or designing a central theme
to your display with them, our 4" shells are
the layers of paint on top of the canvas
foundation. Unique to this size are
crossettes and specialty Euro-style
cylinders.
The canvas in the sky now has a
foundation and is being painted with color.
These 5" shells provide the hightights that
complete the picture. Breaking higher in
the sky, these shells compliment and
contrast the smaller shells with unique
patterns, colors, and effects.

Framing the entire display are our 6" aerial
shells. Because these shells break so high
and wide, they are the perfect toolto
outline the rest of the display. Due to their
large size, these shells allow for patterns
and shapes not possible in smaller shells.
Among the largest shells in use today, our
10" aerial shells break higher and wider
than your audience can imagine.
Designed in the USA, Europe, and Asia,
our line of 10" shells are allmanufactured
exclusively for Melrose.

Scripting Procedure
l. Production Design and Development
The following is a basic description of the process used by Melrose Pyrotechnics to
create a show specifically themed to each soundtrack. We use Show Director
Software by Infinity Visions, Inc., the most technologically advanced professional
choreo graph software available.
A. Evaluation of the Characteristics provided by the Venue:
o Line of site to spectators
o Distance from spectators
o Identifu main viewing area
o Consider secondary spectator areas
o Calculate dimensions of firing site
B. Choreogaphy of Fireworks to Music:
o Listen to entire soundtrack to develop an outline for the program
o Determine the mood and tempo changes and identiff the overall
pacing of the soundtrack
o Develop ideas for the individual songs
o Develop ideas for creative transitions to meld the theme and individual
songs together
o Create a blueprint of firing locations based on the firing site to most
effectively space the product for maximum application
o Begin scripting process using pyrodigital software
C. Scripting Process Overview:
All of the steps described in the choreography section help to lay the
foundation for the effect selection process. The design person will
ultimately let the music select the fireworks by listening to each small
segment repeatedly and examining his effects inventory to find the
best fusion of music and fireworks. At the same time, the
choreographer is considering the entire production to make sure the
crescendo, decrescendos and tempo changes are properly balanced so
that there is a gradual increase in intensity as the progmm moves
toward its ultimate high point, the finale.
2. Audio Production
Melrose Pyrotechnics, Inc. has a full time soundtrack producer whose main
responsibility is to create custom soundtracks to customers' requests. We use pro-
tools computer assisted mixing software to develop fully digital media in various
formats. We have a complete studio located in our facility for the production of
these soundtracks.
3. Event Production
All necessary meeting will be attended by Melrose staff.
Melrose will obtain all the necessary permits.
$ 1 0,000,000.00 public liability insurance
Melrose owns it own Marti-transmitter and other communication devices to
support both voice and digital time code transmission needed to control the
execution of our shows. All frequencies are licensed by the FCC.
All products in our inventory are tested and video taped to assure exact
specifications were maintained in production.
