Thank you for considering Reef Contractors for the Heritage Center Fagade Restoration. We
have extensive experience in restoration facades of land mark buildings. As you are aware,
the grinding of the mortar joints at the Heritage Center's exterior vintage walls, requires a
slow and methodical removal process. Before applying the PHL mortar, the walls are wetted
for an hour. The first PHL layer is installed and again, the walls are wetted each time to
receive the next application. The mortar dying process will be checked regularly to ensure
the PHL does not dry to quickly and develop (...not past tense developed) cracks. REEF will
have trained tradesmen who have many years of working with similar landmark buildings
and enjoy restoring old buildings.
We are excited about this project and have developed a comprehensive restoration program
for the Heritage Building.
We are looking forward to working with you and your team in this project.
Regards,
President
