RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to approve Resolution R-1866, which
approves the 2020 Village of Oak Brook Official Zoning Map.
Background/History:
At the February 25, 2020 meeting, Village staff was directed to prepare the necessary
resolution granting approval of the 2020 Official Zoning Map.
The resolution and zoning map are provided for review, approval and adoption. The
attached map reflects all of the zoning changes that occurred during the 2019 calendar year.

RESOLUTION 2020-ZO-OZM-EX-R-1866
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
2020 VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, the Illinois Municipal Code 65 (ILCS 5/11-13-19) generally requires that a
municipality adopt and publish an official zoning map on an annual basis;and
WHEREAS,the Plan Commission reviewed the 2020 Village of Oak Brook Official Zoning Map
and recommended its approval at their meeting on January 20,2020 by a vote of 6 to 0;and
WHEREAS,the Zoning Board of Appeals reviewed the 2020 Village of Oak Brook Official Zoning
Map and recommended its approval at their meeting on February 4,2020 by a vote of 5 to 0;and
WHEREAS,the Village President and Board of Trustees has reviewed the 2020 Village of Oak
Brook Official Zoning Map and finds it appropriate to adopt the 2020 Village of Oak Brook Official Zoning
Map as presented;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK,DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES,ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are incorporated as though fully set forth in this Section 1.
Section 2. That the 2020 Village of Oak Brook Official Zoning Map,attached to and,by this
reference,made part of this Resolution as Exhibit A,shall be,and is hereby,adopted as the 2020
Village of Oak Brook Official Zoning Map.
Section 3. Copies of the Oak Brook Official Zoning Map shall be published and made
available to the public in accordance with 65 ILCS 5/11-13-19.
Section 4. In the event a conflict exists between the terms of this Resolution and any other
Village Resolution,the terms of this Resolution shall govern.
Section 5. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from after its passage, in
accordance with law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be entered upon the journals of the Village
Board of the Village of Oak Brook.
